MPC 4000 with Pro Tools 8

HELP!!!!


Today I was working with my MPC 4000 & Pro Tools 8, I synchronized them both togather with no problem but when I was recording a drum pattern from the MPC 4000 into Pro Tools during the recording of the drum line, I keep getting pops & cracks in the recording!! I made all kinds of justments to Pro tools and the interface (Project Mix) but I still keep getting these pops & cracks in the recording.
